Tomorrow, August 23, 2011, Jordan Brand will release the Jordan Melo M7 Future Sole; however, we should also be looking forward to another special treat for the Future Sole competition. Tomorrow also marks the beginning of the Future Sole 2011 in which two high school seniors will present their design concepts for a New York City inspired signature shoe for Carmelo Anthony. Recently, Jordan Brand released photos of finalists Nick Diaber and Jacob Rochester in their final stages of creating their kicks. Both finalists individually met with Jordan Brand Material Designer Suzette Henri to pick out materials and construct the shoe. Check out these photos of the design process, along with sneak peak photos of Jacob’s design sketches.<\/p>\n
