Its nothing new that Japanese designers are on the top of their game 24\/7 setting trends for all of us and other brands to follow. Next time you are thinking of grabbing that American branded shoe with the thin sole and high top cut, you aren’t setting a new trend – just following what’s been done in Japan for a while.<\/p>\n Yamamoto (or Y3 for us simpletons) hits us with a candy red upper on a sleek, white sole. This model, the Honja Hi will be part of Yamamoto’s fall\/winter lineup for ’07, but look for some more of this model in ’08 as well. Price tag is in the top tier at $250, but is going to get you many more looks than those supreme Air Force Ones with an NBAers face on the side.<\/p>\n Hype Beast criteria: famous label, check! not sold at mall, check! will fit on mommy’s Visa, check!
