Today, Jordan Brand finally released the highly anticipated, super limited Air Jordan 13 “Ray Allen” PE to many people’s excitement. We are always happy to see classic retros return; however, there seems to be a bigger enthusiasm when a rare player exclusive makes it to the retailers. The Air Jordan 13 “Ray Allen” marks the third Ray Allen PE to be released to the public (the other two being the Air Jordan 8 “Away” PE and the Jordan Jumpman Team Pro “Away” PE). Who else would like to see Jordan Brand annually release a Ray Allen PE? Take a look at the 11 Ray Allen Boston Celtics PEs We’d Like to See Release.

RELATED: He Got Game: Ray Allen?s Top 30 Air Jordan PE?s

Many may not remember this particular PE considering Ray Allen only wore it for a couple of games in between the debut of the Air Jordan XX3 in February 2008 and the Finals in June. Nevertheless, if it was available for purchase, we’d find more time and instances to wear this shoe than Ray Allen did. No need for these to sit in the closet and collect dust, Ray-Ray.

Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan 8 “Away” PE back in 2008; therefore, we have all been twiddling our thumbs and waiting on the release of its counterpart, the Air Jordan 8 “Home” PE. Is there any hope JB?

JB supplied their brand members, such as Kevin Martin, Mike Bibby, Dwyane Wade and Ray Allen, with special Air Jordan 12 PEs during the latter part of the 2008-09 season. Many of you stated that Ray Allen’s Air Jordan 12 PEs were head-over-hills better than the other, aforementioned players’ AJ12 PEs. This Air Jordan 12 “Away” PE would undoubtedly fly off of the shelves if it released.

Surprisingly, Sugar Ray did not spend a lot of time in the Air Jordan XX3 during 2008, the year it released. Instead, we spotted him in the Air Jordan 8 and this Air Jordan 2 “Home” PE a few times. Bring them back! No, not for you Ray. Bring them back for us. We’ll find usage in them.

The Air Jordan 2.5 was consistently looked over until Ray Allen laced this particular pair up on Christmas Day 2008. No, it’s not a classic retro, but this is undoubtedly one of, if not the best colorway of its kind. The incorporation of the red laces is a good look to say the least.

The Air Jordan XX3 “Sugar Ray” PE was specially made and worn by Ray Allen during the 2008 Jim Calhoun Charity All-Star Game. The words ?Sugar Ray? are imprinted on the upper ankle, and it features a reverse color scheme to the Air Jordan XX3 “Home” PE.

In addition to the previously seen Air Jordan 12 “Away” PE, Jordan Brand blessed Jesus Shuttlesworth with this “Home” PE of MJ’s 12th signature shoe. Sure, JB allowed us the chance to purchase numerous 12s in 2009 such as the “Flu Game”, the “Nubuck” and the White/Varsity Red, but we always want what we cannot have, right?

Prior to the start of the 2008-09 NBA season, Ray Allen decided to get some exhibition games in while wearing this Air Jordan 2 “Away” PE. Although this might simply be a preseason shoe for Shuttlesworth, it would be a championship-type purchase for us. JB, are you listening?

Jordan Brand designed this special St. Patrick’s Day Jordan Hallowed Ground PE for Ray Allen in 2010. It features a white textured leather base combined with a white/gold gradient midsole. To further connect with St. Patrick’s Day, Jordan Brand incorporated a three-leaf clover between the heel and side panels. However, Ray Allen ended up wearing a different Jordan Hallowed Ground “St. Patrick’s Day” PE that year. We’ll take the leftovers.

Unfortunately, Ray Allen has never played a game in his Air Jordan XX3 “Away” PE. Does he not like them? If so, that’s fine. We’re sure all Jordanheads would love to have this as an option to wear, and we will definitely put them to use.

We’re sure everybody would like to get their hands on Ray Allen’s Air Jordan 11 “Championship” PE. Jesus Shuttlesworth debuted this shoe in the 2008-09 season opener in which he and the Boston Celtics accepted their championship rings for winning the 2008 NBA Finals. Is this the best Ray Allen “Boston Celtics” PE to date or does today’s Air Jordan 13 PE release take the cake?

Now that you have seen the 11 Ray Allen Boston Celtics PEs We’d Like to See Release, tell us which one you’d like to see return the most in our voting poll below.

[polldaddy poll=5247190]

To coincide with the release of the Air Jordan 13 “Ray Allen” PE today, check out the 11 Ray Allen “Boston Celtics” PEs We’d Like to See Release.

[618
1225452,1225575,737

2":"type-post

Air Jordan XX3 “Home” PE
