Dirk Nowitzki may have had one of those timeless, memorable moments in last night’s game 2 of the Dallas Mavericks vs. Miami Heat Finals. Whether it is talked about 20 years from now remains to be seen; however, there are many more classic moments in NBA history that we will highlight in our ‘This Day In Sneaker History’ column. 19 years ago, MJ had one of those moments in game 1 of the Portland Trail Blazers vs. Chicago Bulls ’92 NBA Finals. Specifically, MJ scored 35 points in the second half, including six three-pointers, while wearing the “Raptors” Air Jordan 7. He went on to wear this shoe throughout the 1992 NBA Finals and helped lead the Bulls to their second consecutive title.<\/p>\n
