NikeiD has made a very big splash this year in regards to signature basketball sneakers. Kobe Bryant’s signature models continue to benefit from NikeiD in a very big way, and Kevin Durant’s Nike Zoom KD III has garnered a lot of attention on NikeiD. Also, NikeiD has inspired other brands to make their signature models available for custom (Derrick Rose’s adidas adiZero Rose and John Wall’s Reebok Zig Slash).

Jordan Brand will soon add the newly-designed Jordan Fly Wade to the ever-growing list of NikeiD custom-ready options. The Jordan Fly Wade, Dwyane Wade’s first signature model with Jordan Brand, is the lightest Jordan basketball sneaker ever created. In between May and June, Jordan Brand will release four colorways of this shoe; however, it will be available for your personal custom inspirations on Sunday May 24, 2011 (instead of May 29, a date we previously reported). Although the Air Jordan Alpha 1 was the first Jordan sneaker to appear on NikeiD, the Jordan Fly Wade will be the first Jordan signature model to hit NikeiD.
