Clearly the heat this week has the team thinking about summer. From Lunar runners to nautical Newbies, the squad was feeling a number of low top kicks. Of course, an early exit for the Horns didn’t stop one writer from showing love to his alma mater, either. Which was your favorite from the past seven days? Let us know in the comments section.

Matt Halfhill

The running category is Charlie Sheen #winning whether it’s lightweight running, maximum impact cushioning, or retro. Nike has given us many (maybe too many) of the Air Max retros, but there are plenty of great runners sitting the vault with no visible air that are equally as hot.

Glad to see that not only did Nike unearth such an awesome shoe from the long running (no pun) Pegasus line, but brought them out with justice dressing them in great colors, materials, and non-mall distribution. Give me both.

Nike Air Pegasus ’92 Lineup

Dwyane has been rocking some nice Air Jordan 2011 PEs as of late. In my opinion, this particular PE is the best yet. Prior to me seeing this PE, I thought the “Blackout” colorway was the best, but the added red and citrus-colored hints on this pair make this a winner in my book.

Air Jordan 2011 Dwyane Wade “Away” PE

Some staff confusion led to me missing the Burn Rubbers when they landed at Snkrs Day. There are no excuses this time around. Where’s my ascot?

CNCPTS x New Balance 999 “The Kennedy” Release Date Change

These + the summer – socks = go to.

NIke Lunar Flow Black/Voltage Cherry Albert Lin

My staff pick pick for this week is the Texas Nike Zoom KD III. It is the first and probably only colorway I will purchase of this model. Overall, this is a great sneaker.

Nike Zoom KD III “Texas”

Summer is approaching, and we all know what that means: 100+ degree?temperatures and fresh Air Force 1s. This pair, while being simple, has?just enough pop to catch your eye with “polished” leather and Honeycomb accents. These will be copped and put on ice until?June or July.

Nike Air Force 1 White/Honeycomb

Clearly the heat this week has the team thinking about summer.
