The Snkrs Day team was thinking like single unit this week, with two writers selecting the same shoe. Both Ian and Alex owned the last US run of a certain shoe, but find themselves without them now. Good thing for them it’s coming back later this year. Another teamer selected a different retro shoe that’s rocking a bright colorway that’s never dropped. What was your favorite shoe this week? Tell us in the comments section.

George Kiel III

The Nike Air Max Penny 1 is a timeless sneaker, and the “Orlando” colorway may be the best colorway to dater. However, this “Highlighter Pack” pair is one of the better Penny sneakers I’ve seen in awhile. It seems as if the black/electric green color scheme brings out the best in any sneaker.

Nike Air Max Penny 1 “Highlighter Pack”

Alex Kroviak

A two-wheel drive truck, 10 inches of rain and 16 year old driving skills combined to claim my pair from 2001. As rarely as I chase Jordan retros, I will have two pairs of these. 1 for daily use. 1 for my children. And maybe a third to hang from the rear-view mirror. Do people still do that?

Air Jordan 3 “True Blue”

Ian Stonebrook

While Alex ruined his “True Blue” 3s from 2001 pushing a car my story is little more embarrassing. In the height of the throwback era I traded my worn, and slightly outgrown, True Blues to my buddy John for a Milwaukee Bucks hardwood classic shirt. Oh boy.

Air Jordan 3 “True Blue” New Images

Greg Grovey

You know what it is! Black and Yellow is a winning combination on kicks, and this Kobe is nothing different. This may just end up being my second pair of Kobe VIs.

Nike Zoom Kobe VI Del Sol/Black

The Snkrs Day team was thinking like single unit this week, with two writers selecting the same shoe.
