Last year, 17 year old Austin Jermacans garnered a lot of attention thanks to his incredible Jordan MELO M6 Future Sole design. This year’s winning design, created by 16 year old Michigan native Allen Largin, is sure to gain just as many positive remarks and rightfully so. For the Jordan MELO M7, the Michigan native went with a mainly, vibrant orange shade for the predominance of the upper with blue stitching that represents the fluid play of Melo?s game. Melo, Jumpman and Future Sole branding appear on the heel, lateral side of the shoe and the tongue, respectively. Additionally, an Infiniti sign, inscribed with the word ?Chelle? (Michelle), demonstrates the loving memory of Carmelo’s sister who passed last year.

Carmelo Anthony will debut this shoe on Friday when the Knicks face the Detroit Pistons. Also, the MELO M7 Future sole will be available for the Syracuse University men?s basketball team to wear when they open tournament competition against Indiana State.

As the winner of Future Sole, Allen Largin will receive $5,000 in computer equipment, a platinum certificate of $,5,000 and a $5,000 donation to his high school.
