Tomorrow, Nike will finally<\/em> released the highly-anticipated “Metallic Pewter” Nike Air Foamposite One. Yes, finally. We say that because this shoe was first spotted on Wale’s feet eight months ago. This is nothing new. Over the past couple of years, Wale has debuted multiple Foamposite sneakers months before the official release. Besides rap bars, the Washington D.C. rapper has made a name for himself thanks to his debut of an assortment of Foams. What other Foams did Wale debut? The Washington D.C. native has let us know, time after time, the Foam fiends reside in DC. The “Eggplant” Nike Air Foamposite One was the one that kicked off the recent surge of Foams. The Nike 1\/2 Cent’s appeal slowly decreased after the original, varsity royal\/black pair released in March of 2009. However, the next, highest attention-getting moment for the 1\/2 Cent happened when Wale debuted this “Metallic Silver” colorway in the fall of 2009. Before the lookbook dropped, photos of the Air Jordan 1 Anodized surfaced on the web; yet, the “Metallic Silver” colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Anodized was first spotted on Wale’s feet in this lookbook.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n When: November 2010<\/p>\n Where: Heineken Inspire Washington D.C. Event<\/p>\n Released: December 2010<\/strong><\/p>\n Cranberry was the go-to color scheme for Nike and Jordan Brand during the holiday 2010 season. The Air Jordan 1 Anodized, Nike 1\/2 Cent and the Nike Air Max Bakin Boot Posite all featured this colorway during the holiday season. The latter shoe was seen in photo galleries on the web, but Wale turned many heads by wearing this shoe at the Heineken Inspire Washington D.C.
