Spring is a great time of year for us sneaker fiends. From new colorways of retro bring-backs to the latest in high tech runners, all sorts of options are out there. In this weekly collection of Snkrs Day staffers’ picks, we each let you in on our own tastes and preferences about the sneaks covered recently. A number of hoops shoes make the list this time around, as did a unique America-honoring SB. Which was your favorite shoe from the past week?<\/p>\n
George Kiel III<\/strong><\/p>\n Foams are usually too flashy for me, but this one is just right! It’s not as shiny and eye-catching as the other colorways, yet, it still packs a very appealing, attractive look. Although it is not particularly a shade of grey, it is still subtle enough to fall into my collection of grey shoes.<\/p>\n Nike Air Foamposite One “Metallic Pewter”<\/p>\n I fondly remember being a fourth grader, saving my chores money and squeezing into the last size left at my local mall when the White\/Red 12s first came out. I beat those things into the ground, but I’d do anything to have them back now. The 12 is the silhouette that hooked at an early age (To be fair, I did also steal my older brother’s “Columbia” 11s just before that). USA! USA! I love the thought process put into this SB. Having the under layer show up in that fashion is pretty smart.
