Last night, Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers walked away with the Vince Lombardi Trophy after beating the Pittsburgh Steelers by one touchdown. Whether Wiz Khalifa’s song “Black and Yellow” dies down remains to be seen; however, Lil Wayne’s “Green and Yellow” mention seems to be the theme thanks to the Packers win.

Following the Packers’ Super Bowl XLV win, we compiled a list of some of the best “Green & Yellow” kicks to represent your Packers affiliation. In this feature, you will see sneakers such as the “Tokyo Taxi” Nike SB Dunk Low, the Nike Zoom Huarache Trainer and New Balance 574 “Jamaica” among many more. Take a look at our Green & Yellow: 18 Sneakers to Show Your Green Bay Packers Pride.

Released: 2004

Inspired by Nike Founder Phil Knight, this SB Dunk Low uses his nickname, “Buck”, which is also his father’s. The color combination is obviously derived from University of Oregon’s scheme, and it features the word “BUCK” on the heel in place of “NIKE”. As for the design, it uses a nice mixture of suede/leather, and it is finished off with a white midsole and yellow outsole.

Released: January 2011

Originally released in the 1970s, the adidas Dragon is one of Three Stripes’ most popular and well-received lightweight runners. A couple of weeks ago, it returned in this Green/Yellow suede and mesh construction that is ideal for a Packers fan. Much like the Packers ‘Home’ jerseys, this Dragon features a predominately green base with just a touch of yellow.

Released: November 2010

Was this the best Huarache Trainer in the “Superheroes” Series last year? Maybe so. Although the Gorge Green upper is mainly highlighted by Volt accents, it can still past as a “Green & Yellow” shoe for your Packers pride.

Released: September 2010

Lately, New Balance has been focusing on their “Sonic Weld” versions of the 574 model; however, in the midst of those releases, this regular, stitched and glued version was undoubtedly one of the best. The long-haired green suede is offset by multiple yellow hints such as the New Balance logo border, the tongue and heel. Definitely, a Green Bay Packers-ready sneaker.

Released: December 2006

Nike created and released a two-sneaker SB Dunk Pack called the “Tokyo Taxi” Series back in 2006. We must applaud Nike for sticking to the script with this inspiration. Much like the Taxis in Tokyo, Japan, this shoe is mainly colored in green and features yellow, horizontal lines on the side. It also contains a green insole which reads “Cab Series” in yellow print.

Released: November 2010

Supra released four new Vaider colorways during the holiday 2010 season including this green and yellow pair. Obviously, this Vaider’s colorway makes it a staple on this list, but we can’t help but mention the highly-detailed, 100% nubuck-laced upper. In addition to the nubuck upper, Supra added a yellow, vulcanized rubber sole with green piping.

Released: May 2010

Although this shoe was inspired by South Africa’s soccer team and the 2010 World Cup, it can definitely pass for a Green Bay Packers sneaker. It features a green canvas textured base, a white vulcanized rubber sole and yellow piping between the two. Just cover up the South Africa tongue label with your jeans if you want people to think these are specifically designed for Green Bay.

Released: 2009

Converse should definitely be more associated with the Steelers thanks to the “Black & Yellow” song by Wiz Khalifa and his Taylor Gang affiliation. However, the Converse Running Shoe is ideal for those who want to show your Packers pride today at the gym. This simple yet stylish design features a oxford and suede leather upper in Green Bay colors.

Released: March 2010

The Nike Zoom Kobe V ‘Away’ Rice Player Edition may be one of the most underrated colorways of Bryant’s fifth signature shoe because of its limited numbers. While it may not be better than the “Rice” Nike Zoom Kobe VI, it definitely matches better with Green Bay Packers color scheme. Any Colby Kobe cheese heads out there?

Released: July 2010

Nike released this “Crayola” Nike Dunk, and the rest of the “Back to School” Pack, just in time for the beginning of school in 2010. This green and yellow scheme is inspired by the Crayola box we all used to pack our Crayons in. It is a nice, themed sneaker for the little Packers fans out there thanks to its exclusive GS sizes.

Released: 2008

If you’re interested in doing some Lambeau leaping anytime soon, this PUMA Clyde “Poison Dart Frog” may be the ideal sneaker. It is inspired by one of the most toxic frogs on the Earth and features a healthy dose of green and yellow on the upper. Frog inspirations come in the form of the logo on the tongue and frog skin-like texture on the heel and toe.

Released: July 2010

When we posted our Footwear Faceoff: Battle of the Boroughs feature, the “Queens” Nike Air Force 1 received the least amount of votes. Maybe it would score higher now considering its Green Bay Packers-like color scheme. If you have no affiliation to Queens, you can still rock these with a Green Bay Packers fit. Just tell them the “Q” stands for Packers Tight End Andrew Quarless.

Released: November 2010

In addition to the previously-seen Vaider Green/Yellow ‘Nubuck’, Supra also released a similarly-colored Avenger EE last year. It too possesses a green nubuck textured upper with yellow hints throughout the base. Any Packers fans who skate out there?

Released: 1999

We knew at lease one Brazil inspired shoe would make the list considering it flag colors. This Dunk Low, inspired by the Brazilian flag (minus the blue), possesses a premium leather base with green and yellow panels. One of the more interesting features on this shoe is the white, double stitching throughout the upper. Released: June 2009

The adidas Gazelle was also given the “Green & Yellow” treatment; this time, in skate form. In detail, green suede is used on the upper, along with minimal yellow hints such as the Three Stripes design and the heel tab.

Released: 2008

Vans hooked up with Tony Trujillo on a couple of new colorways of his signature model, the TNT II Mid. You can pull out the Aaron Rogers ‘Home’ jersey with these predominately green canvas textured sneakers. This TNT II Mid also features a nice touch of yellow on the collar area.

Released: October 2007

The second New Balance offering on the list comes in the form of this “Jamaican Flag” New Balance 574. It contains a nice mixture of materials such as leather, suede, patent leather and mesh.

Released: 2010

Last but not least, we decided to throw the recently released Air Jordan 2 “Candy” Pack on the list. Obviously, this is not a mismatched pair, but who says you can’t mismatch them if you own both colorways? One would stand out in a crowd with one of the ‘Classic Green’ Air Jordan 2s and one of the “Del Sol” Air Jordan 2s. Is this too cheesy for a cheese head?

Now that you have seen our 18 “Green & Yellow” kicks, choose your favorite shoe in our voting poll below.

Nike SB Dunk Low “Buck”
