Matt Halfhill

Quality and comfort. You can’t get much better of either of those than with the 1500. Hand crafted in Flimby, you know that you are getting far more for your money than any other shoe on the wall. These are a MUST have for me personally and for the shop.

New Balance 1500 Fall/Winter Preview

Allison Halfhill

These are NOTHING like any other shoe I have seen out there in a long time. The photos do not even come close to capturing the fluorescent orange-red color of these shoes that can be likened to a cross between safety vest-orange and infrared. Definitely not a shoe if you want to blend in.

Nike Air Max Zenyth “Alarming Red”

George Kiel III

The Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 is a top five basketball shoe of all time in my opinion. I remember having it in a couple of colorways when it came out. It totally shocked me when it surfaced on NikeiD earlier this week. I applaud Nike for allowing one to alter the sockliner (cushioned or responsive) among other attributes.

NikeiD Air Zoom Huarache 2K4

Alex Kroviak

Clae is one of the most underrated brands out there right now and the Gregory is one of the reasons why. It puts off a 90s Gucci vibe, but I can actually afford a pair of these.

Clae Gregory White Perf Suede

Ian Stonebrook

I’m pretty sure these have nothing to do with a movie starring Rhea Perlman and Fredro Starr, but I’m gonna pretend they do.

Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Sunset”

Albert Lin

My staff pick for this week is probably one of my favorite shoes of all time. The Air Jordan 3 “Cement Grey” is an iconic sneaker that has a lot of vivid memories for me. From the dunk contest to the elephant print, this AJ3 is without-a-doubt one of my all time favorites.

Air Jordan 3 “Cement Grey” Detailed Images

Greg Grovey

I must first commend Nike for recognizing Black History Month in its 35th year with this collection. Of course, I have my sights set on the Air Force 1 that’s the second BHM AF1 to be released to the public. The chosen colors are simple and clean, and the materials are second to none. I can’t wait for the 12th!

Nike “Black History Month” Pack

What was not to like about the past seven days of sneaks?
