LeBron James has stated, time after time, that New York is his favorite city. Therefore, Nike drew inspiration from the car you see most often in the Big Apple for this special colorway of LBJ’s sixth signature model. In addition to the black and yellow color scheme, Nike incorporated a grey checkerboard-like design much like the strip seen on the sides of taxi cars. This is one of many New York inspired sneakers for LeBron with the others being the “Big Apple” and “New York Yankees” Nike Zoom LeBron VI plus more.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Many sought-after sneakers released from this collection such as this “Busy P” LIVESTRONG x Nike Air Force 1. Featuring the same designs seen on 2008’s “Busy P” Nike Air Force 1, this sneaker was transformed using the ever-so-popular LIVESTRONG color scheme. Karmaloop x Supra Skytop “Holy Bananas<\/h3>\n
Date Released<\/strong>: September 2009<\/p>\nTaylor Gang Gab:<\/strong> Supra collaborated with streetwear brand Karmaloop on this vibrant Skytop colorway. Dubbed the “Holy Bananas”, this sneaker owns an all-patent leather comprised of a smooth and perforated texture. Both sides also created a special tee design for this limited release.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Air Jordan 1 “New Love”<\/h3>\n
Date Released: <\/strong> April 2007<\/p>\nTaylor Gang Gab:<\/strong> Much like the aforementioned “Thunder & Lightning” Air Jordan 4 Pack, this “New Love” Air Jordan 1 is also inspired by MJ’s motorcycle company. This sneaker was grouped with the Black\/Varsity Red-White “Old Love” Air Jordan 1, which represented his love for the game of basketball. If you recall, “Old Love\/New Love” Pack, which retailed for $200, was packaged in a special slide out double box that featured special MJ moments.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
colette x GAP x Converse (RED) Chuck Taylor<\/h3>\n
Date Released: <\/strong> September 2008<\/p>\nTaylor Gang Gab:<\/strong> Converse’s (Product) RED campaign has produced some very interesting designs on the iconic Chuck Taylor. colette and GAP worked with Converse on this Chuck Taylor which features a theme of ‘caution’, using a black and yellow color scheme. As seen in the photos above, a caution design runs throughout the side panels.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Air Jordan 13 Black\/Lightning<\/h3>\n
Date Released: <\/strong> May 2005<\/p>\nTaylor Gang Gab:<\/strong> Jordan Brand released this Air Jordan 13 Low Black\/Maize a year prior to the beloved Air Jordan “Thunder & Lightning” Pack. Nike Total Air Bus<\/h3>\n
Date Released: <\/strong> 1998<\/p>\nTaylor Gang Gab:<\/strong> The Nike Total Air Bus, created for Jerome Bettis, was one of the first turf sneakers to feature a Total Air technology laced construction. Its featured a thick, full-grain leather upper that helped support big NFL players such as The Bus himself.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Kiks Tyo x G-Shock x New Balance 574<\/h3>\n
Date Released: <\/strong> November 2007<\/p>\nTaylor Gang Gab:<\/strong> In celebration of G-Shock?s 25th anniversary, the beloved brand collaborated with KIKS TYO and New Balance on three amazing New Balance sneakers. The two 574s, shown above, sort of feature reverse colorways to each other. There colorways were inspired by two KIKS TYO x G-Shock watches that released shortly after these shoes.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Nike Dunk Hi “Wu Tang Killa Bees”<\/h3>\n
Date Released: <\/strong> 1999<\/p>\nTaylor Gang Gab:<\/strong> The Wu Tang Clan was undoubtedly one of hip hop’s strongest forces during the 90s. Nike recognized the rap group’s presence by creating an extraordinary Dunk Hi dubbed the “Wu Tang Killa Bees”. This sneaker, which features a ‘W’ on the tongue and heel, was an extremely limited Friends & Family release in 1999 and possesseed a Bright Goldenrod\/Black upper. If spotted today, this shoe could possibly own a price tag of $5000.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Jeremy Scott x adidas 3 Tongue Altitude Black\/Yellow<\/h3>\n
Date Released: <\/strong> August 2009<\/p>\nTaylor Gang Gab:<\/strong> If you pay attention to the Jeremy Scott-assisted adidas releases, you would know that this is actually one of his more subtle designs. Black and yellow leather make up the majority of this sneaker including the ever-so-popular three-tongue design.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Nike Hyperflight Yellow\/Black<\/h3>\n
Date Released: <\/strong> 2001<\/p>\nTaylor Gang Gab:<\/strong> The Nike Hyperflight is easily one of the more recognizable basketball shoes ever created by Nike. The mainly patent leather upper is seen here in yellow with contrasting black hints such as the midfoot, inner lining and sections on the heel. In addition to the red pair, this colorway of the Nike Hyperflight was arguably sought after the most.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Vans “Caution” Pack<\/h3>\n
Date Released: <\/strong> January 2009<\/p>\nTaylor Gang Gab:<\/strong> Much like the colette x Gap assisted Converse Chuck Taylor we showed you earlier, this three-sneaker Vans pack was inspired by caution signs. Vans chose three of its most recognized sneakers, including the Sk8-Hi, the Era and the Chukka, for this themed release. Black leather\/nubuck make up the majority of the upper; yet, the most intriguing attribute on these shoes is the caution inspired soles.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Nike Zoom Kobe V “Bruce Lee”<\/h3>\n
Date Released: <\/strong> January 2010<\/p>\nTaylor Gang Gab:<\/strong> Nike drew inspiration from Kobe Bryant’s affinity for Kung Fu with this special makeup of the Nike Zoom Kobe V. The primarily colored black and yellow upper was designed to mimic the yellow bodysuit Bruce Lee wore in ?The Game of Death?. There are also four red scratch marks on the lateral toe area that copy the scratches Bruce Lee took while fighting in ?Enter the Dragon?. Although not entirely black and yellow, this shoe can easily past the Taylor Gang guidelines.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
LIVESTRONG x Nike Air Force 1 “Mr. Cartoon”<\/h3>\n
