Another weekend brings us another collection of Staff Picks. This time around, a few members of the team were feeling some running shoes. One writer chose a high tech collaborative Nike while two other Nice Kickers stuck with new colorways of a classic model. What was your favorite sneaker from this past week? Allison Halfhill<\/strong><\/p>\n You can never go wrong with an Air Max 1. I was fortunate enough to see these in person and the red is actually lighter and more subtle; a nice complement to the turquoise. I can’t wait til they come out.<\/p>\n Nike Air Max 1 “ACG” 2011 Preview<\/p>\n <\/p>\n George Kiel III<\/strong><\/p>\n The size? 10th Anniversary collabs have been very nice up to this point. This is my favorite one so far though. The ACG inspirations are perfectly set in place on this shoe. Everything from the speckled Lunar sole to the orange and pink branding makes this shoe one of the better releases of the year.<\/p>\n size? x Nike Lunar Air 180 ACG “10th Anniversary”<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Alex Kroviak<\/strong><\/p>\n \n The Air Max 1 is far and away my favorite shoe. You can wear it with shorts, jeans and even jorts (you know, if that’s your thing). The Crepes are a great example of dressing them up, whereas this ACG model for 2011 is a solid example of how to keep things athletically-inspired and outdoorsy. The poor man’s Patta is my favorite colorway for sure and this one will be an easy scoop when it releases.<\/p>\n Nike Air Max 1 “ACG” 2011 Preview<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Ian Stonebrook<\/strong><\/p>\n \n These are pretty B.A. if you ask me. The crocodile upper is dope, the midsole gives it dress up\/dress down ability and the lining seals it. I only have one pair of Vans to my name currently but I’d gladly double my stake with a pair of these Deluxe joints.<\/p>\n Deluxe x Vans Chukka Boot<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Albert Lin<\/strong><\/p>\n My staff pick for this week is the Nike SB Dunk Low “Loon”. Even though SB’s aren’t really my thing, I really enjoy all the themes and colors that designers put into such a simple shoe. I have a few pairs I would love to get my hands on and this would fall into that category. I like the colors and patterns used on this particular pair. This shoe would definitely brighten up a room full of dull looking sneakers.<\/p>\n Nike SB Dunk Low “Loon”<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Greg Grovey<\/strong><\/p>\n \n I don’t know why I like this shoe, but for some reason I do. The leather is premium for sure and the midsole is a dope detail.
