This week’s Staff Picks may have been the easiest choices we’ve ever had to make. Some very nice models hit the web this week (and the Snkrs Day shop). There were Kobes, Air Maxes and one staff member took to an Air Jordan retro despite a slight change for 2010. What is your favorite pair of shoes from this past week? Head to the comments section and let us know what you liked best.

Matt Halfhill

If there is something I get excited about as much as sneakers it’s entrepreneurial?spirit. ?Ball’n is one of a handful of brands getting their foot in the basketball market this season and are on the feet of Ron Artest. ?While I may have made some changes in terms of logo placement and branding, the Ball’n The All Out is a great debut shoe for the new brand. ?I’m a sucker for grey/white kicks and loved the clear outsole and the Lakers colorway with the yellow pop out of the perforations is a sick look. ?Couldn’t decide which color I liked more so going to have to roll with both.

Looking forward to seeing more from this as well as many new brands who jumped into the basketball market.

Ball’n The All Out

Allison Halfhill

Nike has treated us with alot of OG running bring backs from the early Air Max days, but it’s good to see that they haven’t forgotten about of great Nike runners that didn’t sport visible cushioning systems. ?This shoe predates my sneaker obsessing days, but are on my radar for their drop in Summer of next year.

Nike Air Pegasus ’92

George Kiel III

Although I am in anticipation of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI, this last general release of the Kobe V is one of my favorites. The Ink metallic makeup is something we have rarely seen on sneakers and it looks extremely amazing on Kobe’s fifth signature model.

Nike Zoom Kobe V “Ink”

Alex Kroviak

My 2010 in sneakers is summarized by these kicks right here. Don’t get me wrong, I like the classic Jordan retros, Foamposites and so on, but these are perfect in so many ways. From the moment I saw the first sample, I’ve been counting down the days. Thanks for bringing back the Crepe, Nike.

Nike Air Max 1 Premium ‘Crepe’ Black & Sail

Ian Stonebrook

Miles away from home, my alma mater Michigan State is making me proud as a football fan and as a Spartan. This colorway really reminds me of State’s new unis; coincidentally I’ve been wanting a pair of new running shoes for a while. You can never go wrong with 360? Air, Flywire, and mesh (on a runner at least) and you can never go wrong with a winning colorway. Go Green!

Nike Air Max+ 2010 Grove Green/Black

Albert Lin

My staff pick for this week is not the entire Trainer 1.2 “All for One” pack. I chose this model primarily because I really like the Manny Pacquiao and Cristiano Ronaldo pairs. I like the use of gold as well as the safari print on each pair.

Nike Trainer 1.2 “All For One” Pack Greg Grovey

What can I say? I’m a sucker for almost any shoe with a black and lime green/volt/altitude colorway. Although JB switched them up a little from the OGs, these are still on my holiday wish list.

Air Jordan 13 “Altitude”

This week’s Staff Picks may have been the easiest choices we’ve ever had to make.
