the <strong>Nike LeBron 8<\/strong>. ?Next week with the coming of the new NBA season will also bring the LeBron 8 for an official release nationwide. ?A few photos have floated around the web of the shoes and the packaging, but before the official release we wanted to give you a tour of the shoe through an unboxing of the Nike LeBron 8. ?Look for the Nike LeBron 8 at Nike retailers including Snkrs Day October 26th.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nike LeBron 8<\/strong><br \/>\nBlack\/White-Sport Red-Metallic Gold<br \/>\n417098-002<br \/>\n$160<br \/>\n10\/26\/2010<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_126142\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-126142\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-126142\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nike LeBron 8 - Box<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The box for the Nike LeBron 8 features a photo across the top of LeBron James and the lion similar to a painting of Bob Marley and a lion profile looking in opposite directions.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_126141\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-126141\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-126141\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nike LeBron 8 Unboxing - V1<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>With the Lebron VII we saw two makeups of the shoe, but the LeBron 8 will see a total of three different versions starting with V1.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_126140\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-126140\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-126140\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nike LeBron 8 - Slideout box<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The LeBron 8 features graphic ties to LeBron throughout the packaging including his famous chalk toss on the side of the slideout box.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_126139\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-126139\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-126139\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nike LeBron 8 - Tissue<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The &#8220;Chalk Toss&#8221; image continues inside the box with the tissue wrapping the shoes. ?A second layer of plain paper plays as a buffer between the shoes and the printed sheet.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_126138\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-126138\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-126138\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nike LeBron 8 - Unwrapped<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Nike LeBron 8 unwrapped.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_126137\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-126137\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-126137\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nike LeBron 8<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Nike dropped the &#8220;Air Max&#8221; from the official name of the Nike LeBron 8, but the full length 360 Max Air is clearly visible and even more comfortable than its?predecessor.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_126136\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-126136\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-126136\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nike LeBron 8<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>One of the most?noticeable?features to the colorblocking of this pair is the vibrant red tongue &#8211; a first for the LeBron series. ?While covered by much of the laces, the red peeks through just enough and balances the color out of the shoe tying to the all red Max Air and outsole.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_126135\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-126135\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-126135\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nike LeBron 8<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The medial side of the Nike LeBron 8 is quite different from the outside face of the shoe. ?One interesting branding feature is the embossed Nike swoosh on the toe. ?Other details include perforations that give a little look to the red interior.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_126134\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-126134\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-126134\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nike LeBron 8<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Samples of the LeBron 8 that floated around the web featured the LJ23 logo but with the move to Miami and jersey number change, the logo was swapped with LeBron&#8217;s signature and stamp of approval of the LeBron 8.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_126133\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-126133\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-126133\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nike LeBron 8 - Outsole<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>One of the most surprising aspects of the Nike LeBron 8 is how lightweight the shoe is. ?Cut aways of rubber on the outsole help reduce weight and provide spaces for additional branding including the Lion face logo in the middle of the sole and an 8\/infinity logo directly?underneath?the heel.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_126132\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-126132\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-126132\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nike LeBron 8 - Lacetips<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Nike did not miss a single opportunity for branding the LeBron 8 including the lacetips calling out the model name of the shoe.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_126131\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-126131\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-126131\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nike LeBron 8 - Tongue<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Lion logo saw a slight change with LeBron swapping the 23 jersey for 6, but in this colorway the most standout feature is the beating red eyes on the all black lion face. ?Also notice the 8\/infinity lace holes calling out the model number similar to the LeBron VII.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_126130\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-126130\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-126130\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nike LeBron 8<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Speckled midsoles were a cosmetic addition seen on several PE&#8217;s of the Air Max LeBron VII, but comes standard on this colorway of the LeBron 8. ?Great way to break up the long white midsole. ?Nike also calls out the Flywire technology with?subtlety?on the medial side of the heel.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_126128\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-126128\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-126128\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nike LeBron 8 - Sole<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Like with the Lion logo on the tongue, the King James Lion is black on black with beating red eyes.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_126129\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-126129\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-126129\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nike LeBron 8 - Heel<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>On the confort side of the LeBron 8, the single biggest improvement from the LeBron VII is the padding around the ankle at the back of the shoe. ?The branding sits atop a ballistic mesh.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last weekend South Florida received special treatment with an exclusive release of the latest LeBron James signature shoe &#8211;
