Joe Freshgoods<\/a> continues his collaborative hot streak as the designer has unveiled his latest\u2014a set of New Balance 990v4<\/a> colorways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The latest from JFG draws back to a classic as the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990v4 “1998” collection draws inspiration from Hype Williams’ 1998 film, Belly<\/em>. The film, which featured Nas, DMX, Method Man and others, is widely recognized for its opening scene in New York’s Tunnel night club with a captivating blue hue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The collection includes three colorways with the “Intro,”<\/a> “Outro”<\/a> and “Keisha Blue”<\/a> iterations \u2014 all paying homage to the cult-classic film. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Chicago Westsider initially teased teased his forthcoming New Balance 990v4<\/a> collection with a cut & sew collection styled as a nod to the 1999 XXL<\/em> Murder Inc. cover with Ja Rule, Jay-Z and DMX. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
