History was made over the weekend as Kenya’s Kelvin Kiptum broke the marathon world record in Chicago with a time of 2:00:35 while running in the upcoming Nike Alphafly 3<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest super shoe from Nike<\/a>, which is releasing in early 2024, was also worn by Sifan Hassan as she won the women’s marathon with a time of 2:13:44 \u2014 the second fastest marathon of all time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Alphafly 3 carries similar design cues from its predecessors with a lightweight Atomknit upper, Zoom Air pods in the forefoot, a full-length carbon fiber plate, and a responsive ZoomX midsole. However, official details have not been disclosed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
