With that said, many basketball sneakers made their way onto <strong>Snkrs Day<\/strong> whether it be original posting or through our <a href=\"\/category\/kicks-on-court\/\" target=\"_self\">Kicks On Court<\/a>. You would think most of our picks would be basketball-related; however, we unconsciously found a way to keep it diverse.<\/p>\n<p>Click the jump to see the Snkrs Day Staff Picks for this week. Which sneakers were your favorite?<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><!--nextpage--><br \/>\n<strong>2009 Nike Air Max 90 &#8211; Nick Engvall<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Air Max 90 is just classic to me, this colorway is a perfect example. As long as it doesn&#8217;t have a leather toe box, then you can&#8217;t go wrong with a simple 3 color set up on some 90&#8217;s. There was definitely a lot of good picks this week, but this one takes me back to when I was a kid, and makes me grateful for Retro&#8217;s, unlike some of this week&#8217;s Fugly stuff.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><!--nextpage--><br \/>\n<strong>Nike <a href=\"\/nike-hyperdunk\/\" target=\"_self\">Hyperdunk<\/a> TNT- George Kiel<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><!--nextpage--><br \/>\n<strong> <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n<p>With the basketball season beginning this week, I applaud Nike for instilling this concept on the <a href=\"\/nike-hyperdunk\/\" target=\"_self\">Hyperdunk<\/a> at just the right time. While they were many other shoes that were better this week, the theme of this shoe made me choose this for my Staff Pick. The TNT staff&#8217;s faces plus the studio colorway makes an original shoe very unique. Anybody else happy the season is finally here? Barring any injuries, I have the Lakers Vs Cavaliers in the 2008-09 Finals. King James Vs Black Mamba! What&#8217;s your pick?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><!--nextpage--><br \/>\n<strong>Supra Skytop &#8220;Wheat&#8221; &#8211; Matt Halfhill<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Supra Skytop continues to come correct. There are only a few shoes that get the knee-jerk reaction of &#8220;I gotta have those&#8221;, but these wheat Skytops definitely get that reaction out of me. It doesn&#8217;t look like I will be at Best Buy this Black Friday&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><!--nextpage--><br \/>\n<strong>&#8220;Eggplant&#8221; Nike Air Foamposite &#8211; Peter Sim<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Besides that 11\/12 Jordan Countdown dropping later this year, I can&#8217;t wait for the &#8220;Eggplant Foams&#8221; to drop in February 2009.  The rumors of the clear sole have been more or less confirmed, and that was enough to make it the front-runner for the &#8220;Shoe of 09&#8221; in my book (with a slight edge over the &#8220;Safety Orange&#8221; Air Max 95s).  Plus, who knows if Nike will ever bring these back again??  I need two purrs mang &#8211; its THAT serious.  Sure the $200 price tag is slightly ridiculous, but can you really front on them after seeing the <a href=\"\/eggplant-nike-air-foamposite-sample\/\" target=\"_self\">sample pics <\/a>we posted earlier.  Eggplant Foamposite + No Swoosh + Icy Clear Sole = Sexy Time.  Wah Wah Wee Wah!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><!--nextpage--><br \/>\n<strong>Nike Air Force 1 &#8220;Slam Jam&#8221; &#8211; Greg Grovey<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The red wrinkled patent leather give these Forces a look that is second to none. The red\/white colorway is plain and simple, but stands out enough to receive plenty attention. With pre-wrinkled patent leather, I&#8217;m sure those pesky toe box creases won&#8217;t hurt your feelings as much.
