Jordan Brand and designer/director/artist Vashtie Kola are set to make history tomorrow in the form of the Air Jordan 2 ‘Lavender’. This highly-anticipated sneaker is the first ever Air Jordan collaborative project to incorporate the design efforts of a woman. While this limited sneaker will be exclusive to womens’ sizes, the comment sections have been filled with positive comments from men regarding these shoes. If they were created in your size, would you purchase them?

Over the years, there has been a ton of women-exclusive Air Jordans that have caught the attention of guys such as the “Citrus” Air Jordan 11 Lows, the “Coral Rose” Air Jordan 6 Lows and the White/Metallic Silver-University Blue Air Jordan 12s. Our Snkrs Day staff dug into the archives and came with an entire list of women-exclusive Air Jordans that have brought the jealousy out of men. Check out our Jealous One’s Still Envy: 15 Women’s Air Jordans That Guys Covet.

**Note**: After viewing our Jealous One’s Still Envy: 15 Women’s Air Jordans That Guys Covet, choose the one sneaker that you would snag if given the chance to in our voting poll on the last page.

Year Released: 2009

Although the secondary colorway on this shoe is labeled ‘Hot Red’, it can definitely be classified as the women’s version of an “Infrared” sneaker. This Air Jordan 1 combines the Infrared-like color with another one of the most beloved color schemes (‘Cool Grey’) into one of the better Air Jordan 1s we’ve seen in awhile.

Year Released: 2005

Upon this shoe’s release, many thought this Air Jordan 13 Low was a great unisex release. Yet, the minimal (very minimal) pink hints undoubtedly classify it as a women’s exclusive. Still, both genders hunted for this shoe as it and rightfully. Also, it was the only Air Jordan 13 colorway to possess the ever-so-popular University Blue color scheme.

Year Released: 2006

Recently, Jordan Brand has provided the guys with various, less-heralded ‘Varsity Maize’ sneakers such as the Air Jordan Fusion 8, the Dub Zero and the Air Jordan Alpha 1; but, we have not received a major Air Jordan signature that hosts the aforementioned color scheme such as this women’s Air Jordan 7 in awhile. It is the only Air Jordan 7 ever designed for the women, and we’re sure guys would love to see it in mens’ sizes.

Year Released: 2005

The guys received sort of a reverse colorway of this shoe in the form of the “Sacramento” Air Jordan 10s, however, this would’ve been a treat for those who prefer primarily white-colored sneakers. It was one of two womens-exclusive Air Jordan 10 colorways with the other being the ‘Ice Green’ Air Jordan 10s.

Year Released: 2007

It is safe to say the guys were more than pleased with the re-release of the “Aqua” Air Jordan 8s in 2007, but the women’s White/Aqua Air Jordan 8s also turned the heads of both genders. It is easily one of, if not the most colorful Air Jordan women’s release much like the “Aqua” Air Jordan 8s for the men.

Year Released: 2007

Although the Air Jordan 3 debuted in 1988, it wasn’t until 2007 when Jordan Brand made an exclusive colorway of MJ’s third signature shoe for the women. Ironically, this shoe didn’t do too well with the women. Could it have sold better in men’s sizes?

Year Released: 2007

This women’s exclusive colorway of Michael’s fifth signature sneaker is simply a low-cut version of the 2000-released Air Jordan 5 White/Silver. It was JB’s version of fireworks as it released on January 1st, 2007; yet, it possessed a short fuse with the women ultimately retailing at clearance prices. Would it have done better in men’s sizes?

Year Released: 2008

“Grape” is one of those timeless color schemes that seems to look exhilarating on any sneaker. Therefore, in spite of the countless Air Jordan 1 releases we have witnessed (for men and women) over the years, this sneaker is easily one of the top 20 colorways of MJ’s first signature shoes.

Year Released: 2001

While this Air Jordan 11 Low ‘Metallic Silver’ was designed exclusively for the women, Jordan Brand looked out for the guys (with big feet) with this release as well. These sneakers were made all the way up to size 14!

Year Released: 2006

Many consider this sneaker the women’s version of the “Green Bean” Air Jordan 5 thanks to its predominately silver-colored base (although 3M is absent on this shoe). Upon its release, the ‘Shy Pink’ Air Jordan 5 was a hit amongst women and men. If these released two years earlier, maybe Cam’ron would’ve rocked these during his pink craze in 2004.

Year Released: 2009

Last year, Jordan Brand launched an Air Jordan 12 assault by releasing such sneakers as the “Flu Game”, the White/Varsity Red and the “Nubuck” Air Jordan 12s. Despite all of those major releases, guys still salivated over this Black/Purple Air Jordan 12 that released in the fall of 2009.

Year Released: Holiday 2010

This particular Air Jordan 13 is our latest women’s exclusive to surface as JB just previewed its Air Jordan Women Collection for the holiday 2010 season. It serves as a nice, alternate option for the girls seeing that AJ13’s such as the “Flint”, the White/True Red-Black and the “Altitude” are all scheduled to re-release this season. Although it possesses pink hints, it will potentially be well-received by guys as well thanks to its mainly black base.

Year Released: 2006

Jordan Brand released this “Sunset” Air Jordan 5 as the first women’s colorway of MJ’s fifth signature sneaker on the same day the “Green Bean” Air Jordan 5s released; therefore, guys (with small feet) had a difficult decision to make. While other Air Jordan 5s garnered more attention, this sneaker possesses one of the more unique colorways we have seen on any Air Jordan sneaker.

Year Released: 2004

This sneaker first released solely in women?s sizes, yet, guys were proud to rock a pair of these without shame in their game. How so you ask? Five months later, Jordan Brand released these in men?s sizes.

Year Released: 2002

The Air Jordan 6 first released in 1991; yet, in 2002, we witnessed the Jordan’s 6th signature in a whole, new formation. It debuted in a low-cut form and also released in women’s colorways for the first time. The “Coral Rose” Air Jordan 6 was the first women’s exclusive of its kind and released in very limited quantity at select urban accounts.

Year Released: 2001

The Air Jordan 11 Low “Citrus” tops our women’s exclusive Air Jordan list. This shoe released on the same day as the previously-seen Air Jordan 11 Low ‘Metallic Silver’; although, it was much more limited and released at select retailers. The all-white upper, paired with the ‘Citrus’ bottom is color blocking at its best. It undoubtedly made for a great summer shoe as it released right at the end of spring during 2001.

Now that you’ve see all 15 womens’ Air Jordans, choose the one sneaker that you would snag if given the chance to in our voting poll below.

16.
