Over the weekend Bavarian sportswear store\u00a0BSTN<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0opened its first U.K. store located in the heart of Brixton. This is a big moment for BSTN as it marks the brand\u2019s international debut with a flagship location. The new retail space is committed to connecting to the London community as it offers sneakers, streetwear, workshops, panels, and other events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BSTN worked with Berlin-based creative agency\u00a0Sunset Studio to create a contemporary space that flows from inside out. The store has retro-futuristic finishings with modern features, giving the space an air of minimalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was important to BSTN that the space be transformable so it could act as a blank canvas for exclusive releases and immersive events. The upper floor is known as the “B-Hive” and will serve as the dedicated space for the future community-focused experiences. The thoughtful design approach paired with LED panels, stainless steel finishings, and industrial concrete walls are fit for a premium shopping experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aesthetic of the neighborhood also inspires crafted elements representing Brixton’s rich culture, such as calligraphy by a local artist and hand-engraved plaques. The storefront is a marked with a reminder reading, “From The South, From The Heart,” giving honor to the south London town and leaving a lasting impression on visitors passing by.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
