Much like the Penny Hardaway signature line a year ago, Nike is set to capitalize on the hoopla surrounding Ken Griffey Jr.’s successful line. With that said, scanned photos of a new silhouette dubbed the Nike Air Max JR has surfaced on the web. The Nike Air Max JR, a sneaker that is set to release in the summer of 2011, contains a construction similar to the ever-so-popular Nike Air Griffey Max 1. However, it possesses distinctive elements such as a full-length Max Air unit and Nike’s new, lightweight Torch material. For now, we know of three colorways that are set to release in 2011 (black\/red, white\/chlorine blue-grey, volt). What are your thoughts on the newly-surfaced Nike Air Max JR?<\/p>\n
