This week, we showcased photos and information on a wide variety of sneakers. The World Basketball Festival sneaker releases undoubtedly dominated our news; therefore, we had many kicks to choose from.

With that said, check out our Snkrs Day Staff Picks which includes a diverse collection of kicks. What was your favorite sneaker of the week?

George Kiel III

Although the “Chili”, “Neon”, “Slate” and “Comet” Nike Air Max 95s are considered classic colorways of this sneaker, I think this “Photo Blue” pair one of the most underrated, new colorways on this iconic silhouette. Photo Blue has been seen on just about every Nike model this year; however, this sneaker makes the best use of it in my opinion.

I picked these up this past week and couldn’t be happier. They look great in pictures and I knew I had to have them, but they’re even better in person. Clae is steadily coming up in the world and I can guarantee this won’t be my last pair from this brand.

Ian Stonebrook

If properly executed these are an instant classic in my mind. A casual, comfortable interpolation of arguably the best Jordan and the best Air Max runner makes for a great everyday neck breaker. If these release in the fall watch out, the drop with jeans looks perfect making this the most wearable variation of the Jordan 11 you’ll ever find.

My staff pick this week is a shoe that until now, has been Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde in terms of appearance. This week, as more detailed photos of the upcoming BIN23 Air Jordan 13 released, I got a better glimpse of the materials and true color used. I think these could be a good release if Jordan Brand uses a premium suede and leather.

Mike Parsley

I immediately knew I had to purchase the Nike Lunar Mariah Black/Photo Blue as soon as they arrived at the Snkrs Day shop. The Photo Blue accents pop against the predominately black upper, and I feel they used just the right amount of blue. I knew I was going to buy them as soon as I saw them, but once I tried them on, it was for sure a done deal, and possibly one of my favorite purchases of the year. What’s not to love about the Photo Blue Nike Lunar Mariah? Comfort and style all in one shoe.

There has been a few beer-inspired Nike SB Dunk?s in the past but this latest quickstrike takes the cake. This weekend, I will hopefully get my hands on these ?Tecate? beer inspired Nike SB Dunks. Being a natural born Texan, I have to respect its inspiration from the popular Tex Mex Cereveza of the same name. The ?Tecate? Dunks feature a red patent leather swoosh, a black leather and sport red suede upper, and metallic gold and silver side panels that take off the beer can?s signature colorway. This shoe makes you just want to crack open a cold one.

This week, we showcased photos and information on a wide variety of sneakers.
