The partnership between Nike and the city of New York is unlike any other to celebrate the game, spirit, and culture of basketball. ?To honor the heritage and tell the history of the sport of basketball, Nike transformed a space in Harlem as a Hall of Fame telling the story of the game. ?With many pieces on loan from the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, Nike has curated telling timelines of the evolution of the ball, the jersey, and of course the shoes worn in the game.<\/p>\n
Beyond honoring famous moments in the NBA and international basketball, Nike worked hand in hand with curators in NYC to assemble a wall of fame of legendary streetballers who made their name on the courts of Harlem and most notably at Rucker Park. ?Interactive touch screens are also part of the space giving visitors the ultimate experience to learn more about the physical moves of NBA elites and local legends as well as in depth information about the latest Nike Basketball shoes.<\/p>\n
