As one of the most historic basketball cities in the world, Chicago has been a mecca for defining moments and hardwood heroes. Yet even with all the iconic ballers and shining glory attached to the city, Chi-Town managed to set a new precedent for itself as it hosted its first-ever WNBA All-Star game earlier this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In attendance was Chicago\u2019s very own Candace Parker<\/a><\/strong>, making this her 7th WNBA All-Star appearance. Parker played with Team A\u2019ja Wilson and beat Team Breanna Stewart 134\u2013112 at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago. As the fans roared with applause for Parker\u2019s post-game on-court interview, you could tell that the All-Star was at home, and the city was happy to have her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
