Just last week Teddy Santis began to release his highly anticipated New Balance 990 MADE in USA lineup, with the “Sea Salt” and “White” colorways kicking off the launch. Although New Balance has shifted the focus to Santis’ creative direction, that doesn’t mean that the momentum for the ALD stops just yet. The upcoming Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 991 sneaker pack reminds us that ALD isn’t going anywhere and that Santis can do it all.

We previously saw a sneak peak of these pairs in the Aimé Leon Dore Spring/Summer 2022 lookbook. The two different colorways on this New Balance 991 suit the ALD SS22 collection perfectly as muted “Grey” and warm “Tan” add a timeless touch to the sneaker. Both pairs feature a cream-colored mesh base with olive green overlays that match the stripe on the outsole. The ABZORB midsole has a two-tone finish with grey on the forefoot and sail on the rear. Each pair is finished with cream laces and an olive green New Balance “N.”
