According to Boardroom and other sources, Howard University in Washington D.C. will be joining the Jordan Brand family for the upcoming school year. Howard is joining a select few universities such as UNC, Georgetown, UCLA, OU, Houston, Marquette, Michigan, Florida, and San Diego State to be a Jumpman-sponsored school with HU’s current deal with Under Armour set to expire by the end of the summer.

Howard will be the second HBCU to be a Jordan Brand school as North Carolina A&T was one of the original three Jordan Brand schools alongside Cincinnati and St. John’s back in 1997.

It’s still unknown how soon the Jumpman will be appearing on Howard Bison apparel and equipment but stay tuned to Snkrs Day for any updates. Check out photos of Chris Paul in some Howard-branded Jordan CP3.XII below to hold you over until then.
