Foot Locker is celebrating Women’s History Month with a new campaign that highlights Bottomless Closet, a charity organization that provides resources for women at different stages in their careers. In an effort to empower women to integrate their personal style in their everyday workplace attire, Foot Locker invited celebrity stylist Monica Rose to show women how to mix professionalism with individual flair.

Rose invited some of her favorite female entrepreneurs to model the looks she put together. Industry leaders Jennifer Barthole, Jessica Wu, Scottie Beam, and Vic Jacobi all worked with Rose to create outfits that were tailored to each of their career lifestyles. Foot Locker and Rose hope to show women that they can rewrite the rules for workplace attire, which were previously confined to outdated dress norms that dominated societal clothing standards for decades. Rose and Foot Locker challenged these outdated norms by showing real-life female entrepreneurs that are leading the way and looking fly while doing it.

Foot Locker also donated $30,000 to Bottomless Closet in order to fund year-round meaningful resources and tools aimed to further set women up for success in all stages of their career. Through initiatives like Foot Locker’s International Women’s Day workshop, in which executives provide resources within the retail industry, Bottomless Closet has helped almost 50,000 New York City women in-need enter the workforce and achieve success for more than 20 years.

Foot Locker wants to continue to invest in femmes year-round as they plan on creating opportunities for women through their expansion of Behind Her Label, which aims to close the gender gap in streetwear. Being that Melody Ehsani is the Creative Director of Foot Locker’s women division, there’s no doubt that they’re headed in the right direction.
