The sneakers were worn during the 2003/2004 season in games in November into December against the Detroit Pistons, Denver Nuggets, and Los Angeles Clippers and were authenticated and photomatched by Meigray, the leading authenticator for the NBA.

The Nike Air Zoom Generation was LeBron’s first signature sneaker as he signed a seven-year $90 million dollar deal with the Swoosh, the richest rookie shoe deal of all time. The sneaker was designed by a trifecta of Tinker Hatfield, Eric Avar, and Aaron Cooper and inspired by LeBron’s Hummer H2, which got LeBron in some hot water during his senior year at St. Mary St. Vincent HS. The sneaker primarily came in a combo of leather and mesh, with a Lycra-like material on the tongue and lining. Phylon was used in the midsole with a forefoot Zoom Air unit and a regular Air unit in the heel.

The IPO price of the game-worn Nike Air Zoom Generation will be $450,000 with shares being sold at $5 each. The sneakers will be available for investment on December 12th at 8PM EST via the Collectable app. Check out the photos of the game-worn sneakers below as well as photos of him wearing them in-game and the certificate of authenticity.
