Extra Butter has teamed up with UGG to drop a collection that reimagined 4 cozy silhouettes from UGG that’s set to drop later this week.

The all-gender collection features the Neumel Marble Boot, which uses a marble print on the leather upper with suede overlays and a Treadlite outsole for comfort, the Tasman Still Life Slipper, which uses a black suede upper with leather overlays featuring a graphic printed leather rand and sheepskin lining and insole, the Fluff It Fresco, which uses 80% upcycled wool in a multi-color pattern with UGG branding across the midfoot, and a Duffield Throw Marble Blanket which features a marbled print and a co-branded label.

“I’ve been looking forward to working with a brand that can help share my story as an art &
design student.,” said Bernie Gross, Creative Director of Extra Butter. “My days studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology became an asset to building the Extra Butter brand and the UGG brand’s heritage footwear became a great conduit to design around these memories. There were many art movements to pull inspiration from but marble statues, still life paintings, and fresco brush techniques yielded aesthetics we felt were visually impactful and made for uniquely wearable footwear. The quality of UGG products speaks directly to the passion, craftsmanship and detail put into work similar to a fine artist.”

The Extra Butter x UGG Collection is set to drop on November 19th on extrabutterny.com as well as in-store at Extra Butter’s Lower East Side and Long Island City locations with the collection ranging from $120 to $180. Extra Butter is launching a pop-up art gallery in NYC to correspond with the release of the collaborative collection which aims to highlight people of color featuring artists Malik Roberts, Maya Davis, Austin Willis, and Mason Eve.
