These past five days brought us a surprising number of releases for next year, making our staff’s choices for this week pretty difficult. Still, the tradeshows going on worldwide have given us some great sneakers for 2011, though some current product was definitely worth checking out.

Was the circus surrounding “The Decision” enough to draw one of our staffers to LeBron’s most recent signature? Did a team member show some love for the endless amount of runners Summer brings us? Click through and see which Nice Kicker has similar tastes to your own.

Matt Halfhill

The MT580 is one of the greatest silhouettes ever made by any brand, ever. Period. Always have been and always will be a freak for these. New Balance takes the shoe to new heights with white perforated leather, a gum bottom, and kelly green liner. Definitely on my radar for next spring when they drop.

New Balance MTG580 Perforated

Allison Halfhill

Maybe it’s just a result of having the Infared 90’s on the forefront of my brain, but these could definitely tide me over until the 24th when the 90’s drop. I might even say that I like these better than 90’s (bring on the hate), because of the classic 180 material choice of durasheen. Either way, these are sick, and I hope customs doesn’t murder me on importation duties.

Nike Air 180 Metallic White Summit/Midnight Navy-Solar Red

George Kiel III

Simplicity at its best! One thing that has always captured me about sneakers is the texture construction. Although the color scheme is very simple, I love how Nike went with a predominately nubuck-textured sneaker. It’s a nice change up from the mainly leather sneakers we’re used to seeing.

Nike Air Force 1 Hi Light Charcoal/White

Alex Kroviak

The Clae Zissou has long been a hit-or-miss silhouette for me, but this pair for Spring 2011 is spot-on. It’s super clean, uses nice material selection and the leather laces are the cherry on top. Clae seems to be a bit too dressy for a lot of our readers, but these are a perfect mix of sneaker and boat shoe, in my opinion.

Clae Zissou Spring 2011

Albert Lin

I missed some of the best Asics releases, such as the Snkrs Day and the “Super Blue” Gel Lyte IIIs. Now that I have expanded my taste to not just Air Jordans, I am really enjoying all the colorways and models that Asics has been releasing recently. In my opinion, Asics is probably one of the most refreshing brands right now. All of their colorways and collaborations have been really well coordinated. I cannot remember the last time a tan and red shoe has looked so good. The limited release is also a selling factor.

24 Kilates x Las Tres ZZZ x Asics Gel Lyte Speed “San Ferm?n” Pack

Greg Grovey

Being an AF1 lover and a Texan, I had the chance to actually experience Reggie Holloway’s collection and see how great of a person he really was. The Bespoke made in his honor is a perfect way to remember such a good dude. The colors, which represent the Rockets, came together perfectly and the gum bottom takes the shoe to the next level. This is a great shoe in remembrance of a great person.

Bespoke Nike Air Force 1 for Reggie Holloway

Mike Parsley

Nike Air Max 95 “Grape”

These past five days brought us a surprising number of releases for next year, making our staff’s choices for this…

[742
1225545

2":"type-post
