Now that LeBron will be hanging up the number 23 jersey for good we thought it was an appropriate time to take a look back at our favorite 23 LeBrons of the past seven years.

Nike Zoom LeBron II SVSM

Nike and LeBron stay true to his school with a long commitment of great SVSM colorups. ?Picking our favorite was not an easy one, but the Nike Zoom LeBron II SVSM will go down as one of the best.

Nike Air Zoom Generation “Christmas Day”

It should be no surprise that David Stern had the Cavs scheduled for a Christmas Day tipoff in LeBron’s rookie season. ?Nike spared no time celebrating the special day and left these in a special box under the tree for LeBron.

Nike Zoom LeBron IV “Birthday”

For LeBron’s 22nd birthday, Nike worked up a colorway of the Nike Zoom LeBron IV that was sure to get the free agency talk started early. ?Oh, they’re inspired by old school Cleveland Cavs colors? ?Right…

Nike Zoom LeBron VI “MVP”

LeBron may have not grabbed the hardware for his fingers for his efforts putting up 28.4 points, 7.4 boards, and 7.2 dishes a game got him MVP honors. ?Almost as if Nike had the crystal ball, these dropped shortly after the announcement of his winning of the MVP.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII “Dunkman”

Dunkman colorups always came in white, grey, and lime, but few could find any reason to complain when pics first surfaced of the Dunkman LeBron VIIs.

Nike Zoom LeBron IV “Ohio State”

LeBron never suited up for the Buckeyes, but the team was outfitted including Greg Oden – we’re still convinced the two are related.

Nike Zoom LeBron III “Superman”

Another NBA big man claiming to be Superman? ?Dwight may have taken the Dunk Title, Shaq may have the tattoo, but LeBron had the best kicks. ?Point to LeBron.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII “All Black Everything”

Jay may be paying Dwyane Wade, but these All Black Everything joints celebrate two of the greatest in their respective fields. ?Put these in the “I will never get them” column.

Nike Zoom LeBron III “Dunkman”

Following up to the first Dunkman’s that were cut the year before this was one of a number of colorups that had heads chasing like crazy across the interwebs.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII “112”

Thought your Dunkman LeBron VIIs turned heads?! ?DJ Clark Kent got busy applying black nubuck, elephant print, 3M, and neon to the VII making it one of the best LeBrons you won’t get your hands on no matter how hard you try – TRUST ME!

Nike Zoom LeBron III “Oilers”

The NBA All Star Game came to Houston in 2006 that brought many special sneakers. ?LeBron and Nike reminded Houston of a football team from Houston that didn’t suck.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII “Hardwood Classic”

Hardwood Classics night reminds us of all the jerseys we would have worn in 2002 and 2003 and LeBron gets to wear all the shoes we wish we could have. ?Kicks like these make even some fans in Ohio wish he was with the Knicks.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII “Michael Jordan”

The Greatest of All Time inspired many including the greatest players in the league. ?Nike went nuts with all of the tie backs to the Playoff Jordan 11’s. ?Another great pair that’s an impossible get.

Nike Zoom LeBron VI “United We Rise”

LeBron played a big part in the Redeem Team’s run to Olympic Gold. ?James may not have a ring, but a Gold Medal is hardly anything to take for granted.

Nike Zoom LeBron II “Dunkman”

I don’t think anyone at Nike had any idea what franchise of LeBrons this special make up started. ?Consider White/Grey-Neon LeBron’s elephant print.

Nike Zoom LeBron V “China”

Red nubuck and gold details set this shoe off. ?Wear with caution – these are a piece of art.

Nike Zoom LeBron IV “New York”

Tagged with graf across the bottom side of the Foamposite upper gave these shoes instant street cred in NY. ?If people only knew what graffiti graced kicks LeBron was going to wear a few months later in the All Star Game…

Nike Zoom LeBron II “Oregon Away”

LeBron didn’t need to ever play in Eugene to make these one of the hottest college PE’s made, ever. ?A pair of these?unfortunately?could run you the same price as tuition at community college.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII “All Star”

These may not have matched the Adidas jerseys at the All Star Game, but let’s face it, no one cared. ?One of the craziest hues of blue ever used on a shoe. ?The full length Air Max sets the shoes off, but the woodgrain pattern 3M takes them to a new level.

Nike Zoom LeBron IV “Fruity Pebbles”

LeBron takes it back to his childhood with the Family Style LeBron IV’s. ?The Fruity Pebble LeBron IV’s were on display in Niketowns sitting in a plexiglass?cauldron?filled 6′ 9″ high of the sugar cereal. ?Yum.

Nike Zoom LeBron V “Yankees”

LeBron caused a bit of controversy rocking a Yankee’s fitted to an Indian’s game, but King James honors his favorite baseball team one step further with a Yankees edition LeBron V. ?Making the shoes even more special, LeBron put up 50 points in the Garden while wearing these kicks.

Nike Zoom LeBron IV “All Star”

A gold “All Star” colorway dropped the day before the All Star Game, but LeBron took the court in Vegas for the 2007 All Star Game with a colorup no one else had.

Nike Air Zoom Generation “First Games”

It all started here. ?For LeBron’s first game in Cleveland a special edition colorway was worked up for LeBron to wear and the public to have complete with the date of his first game in Cleveland stitched to the inside. ?All greatness had a start and these were exactly that.

Now that LeBron will be hanging up the number 23 jersey for good we thought it was an appropriate time…

[618,1224791
117,1203859,1225736,1225494

2":"type-post
