The shoe was the first running shoe to feature Nike&#8217;s Tuned Air system.  The Nike Tuned Air system consists of two opposing polymer hemispheres that rebound against each other to absorb shock. The Nike Air Max Plus is commonly referred to as the Air TN or Air Tuned.The Air Max Plus was a huge hit in London and Europe (especially France), but was not a major hit at home in the US. In fact, the MSRP has actually dropped in the US from its initial price of $125 to $110 &#8211; something that rarely happens with Nike.  Nike wisely has retroed the Air Max Plus countless times, mostly in European markets.  In the US, you can only find the Air Max Plus at Footlocker, Champs, Footaction as it is exclusive to their chain.<\/p>\n<table width=\"468\" align=\"center\">\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 234px; height: 130px\"><\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 234px; height: 130px\"><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<p>The Nike Air Max Plus, despite being released in over 100 colorways, has some legendary favorites.  The first color it was released in &#8220;Hyper Blue&#8221; was a huge hit with the US market and foreign markets.  Also, the Orange\/Black\/Red colorway is a must have even to US sneakerheads.
