It’s been a season of reunions for the University of Michigan. At the tail end of 2014, the football program hired on former quarterback Jim Harbaugh to take over the head coaching duties. Today, the Ann Arbor school has re-signed with Nike.
Following a leave to adidas last decade, U of M will be officially back with Nike starting on August 1st of 2016 with the deal running until 2027. Wow. If all that wasn’t exciting enough, the partnership will also make the men’s and women’s basketball programs endorsed by Jordan Brand. While the Swoosh and the Victors are best known for making Huaraches hot and Barkleys boom during the Fab Five area, college hoops fanatics will also remember the first round of Jumpman silos getting burn from the Louis Bullock led squads of the late ’90s.
Let us know your early impressions and hopes for this signing in the comments section and keep it locked to Snkrs Day for more details on U of M going back to Nike.
