The Air Jordan 7 is celebrating its 30th anniversary and Jordan Brand is going all out for the festivities. In addition to the return of the “Cardinal” Air Jordan 7, a Travis Scott x Air Jordan 7 is in the works and Marcus Jordan (Jordan’s son) has been working on a remastered AJ7 as well.
The Trophy Room x Air Jordan 7 is inspired by Michael Jordan’s run with The Dream Team as the shoe’s inner tag dates to June 22, 1992, which dates to The Dream Team’s first practice.
Additionally, the shoe features metallic gold details with the Trophy Room logo replacing the AJ7’s signature 23 placement. The box and shoe read “New Sheriff in Town” marking the turnover of what would become MJ’s dominance as coined by Magic Johnson after The Dream Team’s scrimmage. The pull tab’s multicolor design pays homage to the Olympic rings, alluding to The Dream Team and their gold medal run.
The Trophy Room x Air Jordan 7 “New Sheriff in Town” have been announced for an in-store raffle running until November 3rd, with winners selected the 4th. We also expect the pair to release on SNKRS November 9th this year, landing in men’s & GS sizing. Keep it locked on Snkrs Day and the Air Jordans release date page to stay on top of the latest news.
