Calvin Johnson's signature shoe is now available in the "Detroit" getup, draped in Lions colors. Megatron's personal logo on the heel and tongue makes it known whose signature sneaker this is.

Calvin Johnson's signature training shoe has caught many people's eyes with its strong build and design. So far, Megatron's Nike CJ81 Trainer Max has only been seen in two simple colorways, a volt and royal makeup, and an American navy and red style. Now the shoe that the NFL's top wide receiver prepares for the season in is being given a printed textured upper in a cool grey colorway. With two shades of grey composing the base, navy and orange accents are all over the artistically designed CJ81. To add even more detail, Calvin Johnson's Megatron logo holds down the fort on the back of the shoe.

The man known as a Megatron sees a patriotic palette on his new trainer in honor of his high school, with red and navy accenting a white base. An Air Max unit provides cushioning in the heel, while a midfoot strap aids lockdown. A perforated pattern appears on the toe box, carried over in embossed form to the ankle collar. Look for the CJ81 Trainer Max to release on June 29th for $120.

Built for hardcore performance, the CJ81 features a dynamic midfoot arch strap, created for cradled support and fit. The Nike CJ81 Elite TD features a midtop cleated performance sneaker constructed to the liking of the Detroit Lions’ Wide Receiver. With a release date of May 11, 2013, the CJ81 Elite TD will become available for preorder April 28, 2013. Priced at $120, three colorways will release a Lions-inspired Blue/Silver makeup, Black/Silver, and Black/White. Hopefully Nike will release a non-cleated version of this sneaker for the fall.
