Final Four hats and t-shirts weren't the only noteworthy styles that Florida, Wisconsin, UConn and Kentucky were sporting in their celebratory net-cutting ceremonies over the weekend. Each of the teams included in the final quartet donned notable sneakers in their Elite 8 victories, punching their tickets to the culmination of the big dance in a wide array of silhouettes and colorways. Florida and Kentucky donned their usual Nike PEs, with a few individuals in separate styles. UConn chose to go the team-shoe route, sticking together in the Nike Zoom Crusader, while Wisconsin held it down for adidas Basketball by lacing up multiple renditions of red and white Three Stripe models. Arizona and Michigan State both took tough losses in player editions of their own. Dayton got colorful to culminate their magical run, and Michigan's yellow sneakers shined brighter than their play.

The Sweet 16 wrapped up last night in style, with teams and players lacing up notable sneakers across the board. Trimming the field down to eight teams, and including only one mid-major, last night's slate of games saw three of the four lower seeds advance. Although Iowa State had their season come to an end, their dynamic duo of DeAndre Kane and Melvin Ejim headlined the footwork watch. Both stars switched it up for the Sweet 16, lacing the Air Jordan 14 White/Red and Air Jordan 10 Cool Grey/Black-Infrared 23, providing surprises as predicted in the College segment of yesterday's Kicks On Court Weekly Recap. Michigan edged Tennessee while both teams were wearing the latest from adidas Basketball, and Michigan State sent Virginia home in their exclusive PEs.

Last night's kickoff to the Sweet 16 didn't disappoint, keeping the music playing for this year's Cinderella story and featuring fierce battles between top seeds with top-shelf footwork. Unfortunately for sneaker enthusiasts, the 2014 College Kicks On Court team champion San Diego State University saw their season come to a close. The Aztecs were knocked off by number one seed Arizona, but bowed out in style. Rarely rocked retros were worn across the entire roster, as SDSU's regulars brought out everything from the Air Jordan 6 Black/Infrared, to the Air Jordan XX QS. In the other three games, Dayton took care of Stanford in their team-issued models and the "Liger" KD VI, Wisconsin tamed Baylor in the latest from adidas Basketball, and Florida pushed on over UCLA in a slew of Nike silhouettes.

The field was cut in half, but the sneaker sightings remain full. March Madness continued Saturday with the first slate of games in the Round of 32, with frantic finishes and surprising sendoffs. San Diego State pushed on in a new run of Air Jordan retros, while Louisville rolled in the latest from adidas. Pittsburgh and Syracuse saw their College KOC headlining seasons come to an end, as did Oregon's iDs.

March Madness is in full effect from top to bottom. The NCAA Tournament started off with a bang yesterday, as the biggest stage in college basketball brought out some of the best sneaker sightings of the season to go along with a storm of great games. Syracuse, Michigan State, Louisville and Michigan all cruised in their previous PEs, while Harvard, Dayton, and North Dakota State all pulled off upsets in their new renditions of the Nike Zoom HyperRev and Crusader. Although his Saint Joseph's squad couldn't hold off UConn, DeAndre Embry put in his bid for wear of the tourney by lacing the Nike LeBron X "Championship" Pack. Contending in the same category, Lamar Patterson brought out his rare Nike LeBron III "Houston Oilers" for the second time this season to lead Pittsburgh's bold statement. Most of the games on day one of the tournament stayed interesting, keeping up with the wide array of notable sneakers that were worn to the first day of the NCAA dance.
