Last week, we concluded the series highlighting the 2014 Kicks On Court Champion nominees. P.J. Tucker and Nick Young garnered an abundance of interest with their Nike Kobe debuts, while the latter also brought out Nike LeBron and Air Jordan gems. Monta Ellis, Terrence Ross and Tony Wroten kept it consistent throughout the season with notable kicks, and DeMarcus Cousins became the first ever big man to compete in the race.

Just one month after debuting the "Powder Blue" Air Jordan 10 retro on court, we spot Dallas Mavericks guard Monta Ellis in another new colorway of MJ's ninth signature shoe. Ellis took to the court in the recently released "Barons" Air Jordan 9, which matched rather nicely with the Mavericks' home uniforms. Inspired by the time when Jordan left the game of basketball for the baseball diamond, the "Birmingham Barons" Air Jordan 9s feature the exact color scheme of the uniforms worn by the aforementioned minor league ball club. In addition to the 9, Jordan Brand also released a Barons-inspired Air Jordan 1 this past Saturday.

Monta Ellis switches up his kicks on court more than anyone else in the NBA. After debuting the Air Jordan 10 "Powder Blue" retro last week, the Dallas Mavericks guard took to the court in the "Wolf Grey" Air Jordan 5 in last night's nationally televised game against the Denver Nuggets.

If you recall, the "Wolf Grey" 5s released during the spring of 2011, and are considered one of the most underrated retros that year. Check out these kicks on court, along with the rest of the heat donned on the NBA hardwood, below.
