The latest in the Air Jordan line gets a Laker-like cover on the Air Jordan XX8 Yellow/Purple. Never one to shy away from bold designs on its zip-up skin, the Air Jordan XX8 is getting close to covering the entire color spectrum. This new color code zipped up is yellow and white with a black midsole, while a fold down displays its purple tongue, laces, and name tag. A speckled yellow outsole adds detail to this caution tape colorway.

Jordan Brand occasionally remixes some of its models by giving it an SE version, or Special Edition. Often times, the SE form resembles the original very closely, with only a few modifications. Yesterday during the Take Flight Tour 2013 that included brand members Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, and Blake Griffin, the latest of the line was first revealed in special edition form on the Air Jordan XX8 SE "Camo". The upper, which lacks the zip-up sleeve that distinguished the original AJ XX8, features military brown camo with a navy blue tongue and laces. The carbon plating is consistent on the heel and midsole, but this XX8 SE appears far different without the cover.

Debuting the model on the NBA hardwood and getting an array of exclusives, we find out today that two of his PEs are set to release to the general public. A White/Black-Photo Blue pair sports a perforated upper with an orange outsole tying in the Thunder theme. A Photo Blue/White-Black makeup rocks the team colors in all-over print fashion. Both Air Jordan XX8 Russell Westbrook PEs are slated to release on May 11th for $250 with launch locations unknown at this time.
