Having come a long way since its hardwood glory days, the classic Converse Weapon is preparing to reclaim its hoops fame with a slew of revamped drops. Converse Celebrates CONS Weapon Collection in Toronto

Converse is bringing back one of its most iconic models in a big way. The brand is reviving the Converse Weapon, which was the premier basketball shoe in the '80s for legends like Magic Johnson and Larry Bird. The retro return of the Weapon is reworked with a new shape and vivid color schemes that update the classic silhouette for modern movement. Converse held a special launch event in Canada last night, rolling out the new and improved CONS at Goodfellas Gallery in downtown Toronto. Many of the brand's executives and designers were on hand to introduce the quintet of colorways that will look to bring new life to the silhouette. To celebrate the occasion, artists Vince Staples, El-P, Sheek Louch and Ghostface Killah all performed to a crowd of attendees on an All-Star stage. Converse CONS Weapon Officially Unveiled

Having come a long way from its OG days as the footwear of choice for the likes of Magic Johnson and Larry Bird, today, the All-Star brand releases a brand new Converse CONS Weapon sneaker collection. The Converse Weapon was the premier Kicks On Court shoe in the '80s, and the silhouette is now rolled out in five premium makeups that each feature a modern shape and striking color palette. Building upon the extensive heritage of the model while implementing an update look and feel, these CONS focus on internal comfort in an array of materials and style codes. The "Patchwork" weapon is a multicolored makeup, the "Ray Pack" sports a heathered contrast, and the "Reflective Mesh Pack" utilizes 3M. A more expansive collection of Weapons will drop in August, but this quintet of colorways lead the way starting on June 13th.
