Even after seven years, the original CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 registers as a radical and progressive. Translucent paneling paired perfectly with Nike’s newly unveiled no liner concept, with a unique color palette further playing to the creativity. Today, we see pictures courtesy of ninjafury1979 of the 2006 installment and the upcoming collab between CLOT and Nike. The new Air Max 1 take makes the most of the SP iteration, using high tech materials for a modern wear. Check out both installments below and let us know if you plan on picking up the 2013 version. CLOT is a well-known lifestyle goods retailer that has established a flowing connection with Nike. Putting their collaborative hand on many of Nike's most iconic silhouettes, including the Tennis Classic and Air Force 1, CLOT has built a solid reputation for collaborative projects. The newest collaboration between CLOT and Nike is on the classic Air Max 1. Resembling the Chinese culture that CLOT is fully integrated in, traditional Chinese medicine inspires the Hyperfused AM1 that features a shiny grey and white upper with a black Swoosh. Teal accents are on the top eyelet, tongue, and in the visible Air unit, while a speckled midsole and ice blue outsole contribute detailing. CLOT tags are present on the heel to personalize the collab.

In past years, Clot has cooked up a couple choice flavors of the Nike Air Max 1. Relying on a recipe of fresh colors and limited launches, the overseas outfitter looks to strike gold again with a new installment. Previewed by Edison Chen is a first look at the new Clot x Nike Air Max 1 SP. While little can be seen from this preview pic, neutral mesh is apparent as are green accents.
