Fans of Base Kicks may recall that JB has a long history of rewarding their stars on the diamond with new cleats to celebrate their accolades, seen on the Air Jordan 11 PE made for CC Sabathia. Like many Major League Baseball players, Carl Crawford celebrated Jackie Robinson Day by sporting #42 on his kicks. While Philly slugger Jimmy Rollins elected to switch shoes mid game, Crawford chose to rock both blue and white Jordan 6 Rings PE Cleats at the same time. The mismatched cleats are apparently a violation of the MLB's uniform code, resulting in a phone call to Crawford's agent from the league offices and possibly a fine.
