Releases of Drake’s Air Jordan 12 OVO have been both feverish and unpredictable. They seemingly come when they please, with no release confirmation up until just days prior to release. And even that’s a stretch.
The Air Jordan 12 OVO “White” was similar in its unpredictability. The shoe was initially revealed at NBA All-Star Weekend 2016 in celebration of the game’s first stop in Toronto. From there, Drake‘s gem of a Jordan was rumored to be shelved indefinitely, only to release months after that report this October.
A proper release of the Air Jordan 12 OVO “Black” would mark a place of (some) closure for Drake’s once assumed Jordan Brand PEs. The shoe has most recently been spotted at a pop-up shop in Salt Lake City, Utah, in honor of Jordan’s “Flu Game” heroics. And now, the shoe is reported to release during NBA All-Star Weekend 2017 this February. Jordan Brand has not confirmed this release and if history serves, they may not confirm even if it’s indeed true. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Keep it locked to Snkrs Day for all the details.
