Long before he was leading low tops on the hardwood for Nike, Kobe Bryant was the face and fro for adidas Basketball. Following disappointment with design and marketing direction from The Three Stripes, Jelly Bean Jr. broke his contract and was a sneaker free agent for the entire 2002-03 season.

Legally bound to rotate brands game to game, Kobe wore everything from Jordans to AND1 sneakers with most major labels lacing #8 with his own PEs in hopes of signing him the following season. While Kobe would eventually join the Swoosh, the Reebok Question Kobe Bryant PE lived as a fan favorite.

Lucky for us, it’s finally going to release at retail.

Following the Packer pack that paid tribute to Question PEs for the then unsigned Swoosh stars of Bryant and LeBron James, this White/Yellow-Purple pair was seen in retro form for the first time every by Philly friend and well-regarded opponent Allen Iverson.

Iverson, the face and feet of the Reebok Question, wore the Hexalite cushioned shoe his entire first season with the Sixers where he beat out Kobe for Rookie of the Year honors. Showing reverence and range, Kobe wore this Question PE and other colorways over the course of his sneaker free agency.

A formal release date for the Reebok Question Kobe Bryant PE is yet to be announced. Keep it locked to Snkrs Day for all updates.
