Footwear and streetwear have been intertwining for the past few years, case in point with the Palace x Juventus kits, as well as everything PSG. Following rumours earlier this year, it’s now official: Virgil Abloh’s Off-White brainchild has announced an epic partnership with La Liga’s AC Milan.

The luxury fashion label will now officially act as the club’s Style and Culture Curator for both the men’s and women’s teams. The first Off-White x AC Milan pieces have already debuted as the men’s team made their way to London just ahead of their UEFA Champions League fixture against Chelsea donning cream-colored varsity jackets. The team bus was even emblazoned with Off-White™ and AC Milan’s branding as well as “Players Inside” in Abloh’s signature quotes. It’s also expected the team will debut new Off-White kits during their match tonight.

The varsity jackets are just one of many items to come. The duo has already teased new team suits with embroidered red patches on the sleeves that read “I support sport for change” — realizing the duo’s motto, “WEAR YOUR HEART ON YOUR SLEEVE.” The quote additionally encourages fans and players to speak up for their ideas for change. The partnership will also include community activations and projects to support Fondazione Milan, AC Milan’s charity foundation.

“This partnership is an ambitious project that involves two innovative and global brands,” says Casper Stylsvig, Chief Revenue Officer of AC Milan. “As a Club, we have very defined principles. Cultural-inclusivity and equality is at the forefront of our business. Therefore, we are proud to embark on this journey with Off-White, with whom the Rossoneri share a common vision and a common mission. The new journey is a further testament to AC Milan’s ability to engage with younger generations through the convergence of football with other sectors.”
