Ending our month in kicks will be a sneaker that represents what February is all about: a celebration of African-American history. One of the highlights of Nike’s “Black History Month” Pack is this Zoom Kobe VI. Not only does this shoe celebrate a great cause, it subtly celebrates some of the player wearing it’s accomplishments. Within the upper’s designs, which are modeled after those by artist Hele Woodruff, are nods to Kobe’s 81-point game. Almost all of the sneaker is black, save for the Metallic Gold used for the Swoosh, metallic finish heel cup, outsole heel and tongue logo. Additional details appear on the lateral heel, where a BHM badge is attached, as well as on the underside of the tongue and the insole. This Kobe can be yours on February 26th from select retailers, including Snkrs Day.
