The WNBA has officially rolled out its all-new Nike jerseys ahead of the 25th season. The Nike Heroine, Nike Explorer, and the Nike Rebel versions combine the team’s history, the fans, and the respective cities and state that each franchise is housed in.
The basketball uniform is an important representation of the brand of WNBA players and teams and a point of pride for fans.
In partnership with Nike, unveiling new and exciting adaptations of the WNBA uniforms is a dynamic way to build on the foundation of the league’s first 25 years.
WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert
The Swoosh listened to the fans this time around as the numbers are back on the front of the jerseys, each team’s jerseys is reflective of their own DNA, and the designs are undeniably fire.
In addition to the jerseys, the W and Nike are releasing a set of apparel including jumpsuits, vests, pants, and more as Nike is embracing the off-court appeal of basketball for the W as streetwear continues to dominate.
As the W’s 25th season tips off in a matter of months, the first set of jerseys have been unveiled for all 12 teams.
The jerseys are available on Nike.com and the Nike App for Nike members starting April 8. Jerseys will be available at Fanatics, DICK’S Sporting Goods, and team stores starting on April 14, along with the Game Theatre and WNBA Team 13 apparel. Take a look at the Explorer and Rebel and editions for each team below and its inspiration.
