Nike SB will rework the “Neon” AM95 for its 30th anniversary.
The Nike SB crossover continues as the Nike SB x Nike Air Max 95 “Neon” is rumored for 2025.
Following the success of the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 “Pine Green” and ahead of the Nike SB Air Jordan 4 “Navy” release, this crossover marks another milestone in the Nike SB franchise.
Originally designed by Sergio Lozano, the Air Max 95 “Neon” debuted in 1995, drawing inspiration from human anatomy, with its gradient design mimicking muscle fibers and volt accents symbolizing vibrant energy. This silhouette has been a cornerstone in sneaker culture for decades, with notable re-releases in 2008, 2010, 2015, and most recently, in 2020. For the silhouette’s 30th anniversary, Nike SB will collaborate on the OG colorway.
The synergy between skate culture and the Air Max 95 is slim as professional skater Stevie Williams is potentially the only individual skating in the Air Max 95 “Neon” after the OG release.
As of now, the exact details of the collab are unknown but it’s speculated that the pair will arrive in a retooled version for optimal comfort, akin to the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4.
The Nike SB x Nike Air Max 95 “Neon” is rumored to arrive in 2025 via SNKRS and select retailers, including Nike SB retailers. A price point has not been disclosed. Additionally, a Nike SB Air Force 1 Low is rumored for 2025 as well.
