Nike SB is reworking the Air Max 95 with the Nike SB x Nike Air Max 95 “Cactus Flower” colorway, in celebration of the silhouette’s 30th anniversary.

The “Cactus Flower” colorway will be the second Nike SB x Nike Air Max 95 as the iconic “Neon” Air Max 95 will also receive an SB upgrade.

Although images of the pair have yet to surface, the “Cactus Flower” Nike SB x Nike Air Max 95 is expected to arrive in the AM95’s signature gradient look with summit white, photon dust, and cool grey. Cactus flower details will arrive on the lace loops, Air unit, and Nike SB branding. Additionally, a gum bottom is anticipated as well.

Designed by Sergio Lozano and first hitting shelves in 1995, the AM95 was a game-changer, drawing inspiration from the human body and the natural world. The design pushed boundaries with its distinctive layered upper, representing muscle fibers and vertebrae, giving the sneaker a bold, anatomical aesthetic that stood out from anything else on the market. To this day, the design turns heads.

What truly set the Air Max 95 apart was the introduction of visible Air units in both the heel and forefoot, delivering next-level cushioning that made it a favorite for runners and sneakerheads alike. For the last three decades, the AM95 has evolved from performance to a cultural staple. As the shoe celebrates 30 years of execellence, Nike SB will upgrade the pair, akin to the added comfot Nike’s skate division implemented to the AJ4 with the “Pine Green” Nike SB x Air Jordan 4.

The Nike SB x Nike Air Max 95 “Cactus Flower” is rumored to release in 2025 for $175 via SNKRS, and select retailers, including Nike SB retailers.
