Nike SB is back at it again, serving up a fresh take on a classic that’s bound to have skaters and streetwear aficionados alike running to the stores come 2025.
The Dunk, born in ’85 as a college hoops shoe, took an unexpected detour in 2002 when Nike’s newly formed SB division adopted it as their poster child. Suddenly, this hardwood staple was grinding rails and ollying gaps, becoming the de facto skate shoe for a generation.
For 2025, Nike SB will be dropping a “Black/White/Gum” Dunk Low iteration. It’s like Nike distilled the essence of skate culture into a sneaker. The black leather upper and matching black suede overlays are all business, perfect for hiding those inevitable scuffs from failed kickflips. But peep that crisp white Swoosh – it pops like a perfectly executed tre flip. Down below is a gum rubber outsole to give you the board feel and grip that separates the pros from the posers.
The Nike SB Dunk Low “Black/White/Gum” will be released in 2025 via Nike.com and select retailers for $115.
